About 2048
2048 is the addictive number puzzle. Slide the tiles on a 4×4 grid; when two tiles with the same number touch they merge into one. Keep merging to build a 2048 tile, then keep going for an even higher score.
How to play 2048
- Every move slides all tiles as far as they can go in that direction.
- Two tiles with the same number merge into one tile with their sum (2+2=4, 4+4=8…).
- A new 2 or 4 appears after every move.
- Reach the 2048 tile to win, or keep playing until no moves are left.

Tips and tricks
- Pick a corner and keep your biggest tile there.
