About Solitaire
Play classic Klondike Solitaire for free. Build each suit from Ace to King on the four foundations, stack cards down in alternating colors on the table, and clear the deck. Choose draw 1 or draw 3, with unlimited undo and auto-finish.
How to play Solitaire
- Move cards onto the table in descending order with alternating colors (red 9 on black 10).
- Only a King (or a stack starting with a King) can go into an empty column.
- Draw from the deck when you run out of moves. Draw 1 is easier, Draw 3 is the classic rules.
- Build each suit from Ace up to King on the foundations at the top right to win.

Tips and tricks
- Always move Aces and Twos to the foundations as soon as you can.
- Prefer moves that turn over a face-down card on the table.
- Don't empty a column unless you have a King ready to fill it.

Which solitaire is this?
Klondike, the classic version that came with Windows and is the most popular solitaire in the world.
Is every game winnable?
Most Klondike deals can be won, but not all of them. Draw 1 games are won much more often than Draw 3.
How is the score calculated?
Standard scoring: +10 for each card to a foundation, +5 for waste to table and for turning a card, minus points for recycling the deck, plus a time bonus when you win.
