Minesweeper
Clear the field without setting off a mine.
About Minesweeper
Minesweeper is the classic logic puzzle. Every number tells you how many mines touch that square, so use deduction to uncover all the safe squares and flag the mines. Choose Easy, Medium or Hard; the faster you clear the board, the higher your score.
How to play Minesweeper
- Click any square to start. Your first click is always safe.
- A number shows how many of the 8 surrounding squares contain a mine.
- Flag squares you know are mines with a right-click or long-press (or turn on Flag mode).
- Reveal every square without a mine to win.

Tips and tricks
- Start with the corners of opened areas: a 1 touching only one hidden square means that square is a mine.
- Click a number whose flags are all placed to open its neighbours in one go.
- Look for the 1-2-1 and 1-2-2-1 patterns along edges; they always resolve the same way.

How do I flag a mine on mobile?
