About Daily Word
Daily Word is a free daily word puzzle. Everyone gets the same 5-letter word each day: guess it in six tries using the colored hints. Keep your streak going, share your result, or play unlimited practice words.
How to play Daily Word
- Type any 5-letter word and press Enter.
- Green means the letter is in the word and in the right spot.
- Yellow means the letter is in the word but in a different spot. Gray means it isn't in the word.
- Use the hints to find the word within six guesses. A new word arrives every day at midnight.

Tips and tricks
- Start with a word that has common letters, like CRANE, SLATE or AROSE.
